The pigeons in Batu Caves 在黑风洞的鸽子 ...

Batu Caves (黑风洞) or "Rock" Caves as the local calls it is just
about 30 minutes drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur ...

my suggestion is to come here early, the parking is ample when is early
and you can even enjoy a cup of fresh milk Indian tea before you do anything else ....

all the pigeons will be here early in the morning waiting
for the keepers who feed them in the morning ....

why I say come here early in the morning, because it is then
only you, your camera, and the pigeons ....

Do all your photographing with the birds before your take the stairs
up to the temples above in the caves .....

you can photograph them however you like from a distance ...

or close-up like this ....
when the tourist bus arrives, forget about doing these kinds of shots ....

or even such a view as the pigeons may be gone when the tourist starts arriving ....
welcome to Batu Caves ..
well, I enjoyed my morning here ....

I have seen Batu Caves on TV. It is an amzing place. Those photos with different accent: distant or near are very good. The last one looks like pigeons in San Marco Square, Venice. It's my favourite because the majestic position of the statue. Congrats, Wong!

O mój boże ale monument. Czy to Budda? Robi wrażenie. W Polsce ostatnio postawili Chrystusa wyższego od tego w Rio de Janerio. Dlaczego jeden z gołębi ma zamknięte oko?

Interesting shots. It also makes me curious about what's after the stairs.
