As I reach Sri Maha Mariamman temple in Little India at Queens Street in 
Georgetown Penang at 6:00am in the morning, a huge crowd already
waiting outside the temple ...

The sacred animal who will accompany Lord Murugan to Waterfall Road 
is also eagerly waiting ...

Devotees finally see a glimpse of Lord Murugan being brought 
out of the temple ...

Devotees preparing to place the statue Lord Murugan into the chariot ...

after a series of chanting, devotees pray for the safe journey of 
Lorg Murugan to Waterfall road ...

The pilgrimage procession to Nattukottai Chettiar Temple atop the hill of 
Waterfall Road from here will take more
then 12 hours, it will be 9 or 10 pm before it reaches the
destination for a 3 day prayer and celebration ...
