Fading away 逐渐消失 ...

It is better to burn out
than to fade away
(Neil Young)
...
my interpretation
...
It is better to die in one second
than to die slowly
or
the fireworks that light up the sky brilliantly
than a dull candle that burns itself slowly
...
then again
some say
it may be sweeter to linger in the dust

Beautiful soft images of solid rock and diaphanous waters. I love the contrast between the two forms.

这可能刚好和中文里面的 “生如夏花之绚烂, 死如秋叶之精美”相契合了吧

Amazing photos, the choice of black and white is brilliant! I'm sitting here pondering your thoughts, I'd have to agree that it would be better to die in a split second but I prefer the dull candle, both fireworks and candles are amazing but the candle burns slowly and I get to savor the moments for longer periods of time. Just my late night thoughts.

Have a fantastic day/evening.
