The "Old" taste, just the way I like it “老”的味道,正是我喜欢的方式 ...

Sometime money cannot buy the
good "old taste"
I am glad this small little stall
tucked away at a corner of KL China Town
is still doing business
since I first tasted here in the 1970's as a little boy
...
The rice noodle roll (also translated as steamed rice roll)
I think it is a Cantonese dish,
we call it "Chee Cheong Fun" 豬腸粉
...

The "Old" taste, just the way I like it “老”的味道,正是我喜欢的方式 ...

The "Old" taste, just the way I like it “老”的味道,正是我喜欢的方式 ...

Every bite of this rice noodle
brings childhood memories
rushing back into my mind
...
I still come to this shop to find those memories
...

The "Old" taste, just the way I like it “老”的味道,正是我喜欢的方式 ...

China Town, KL 吉隆坡华人街 ...

Me encantan tus fotos lúgubres, un estilo muy peculiar, y ese toque de color, muy sugerente....

I like your dark photos, very interesant style, with a little drops of colors, make the photo very interesting...

saludos.

I didn't visit Malaysia yet, but as far s I remind about China and Japan, those very small resuarants sometimes provide a food uch more enjoyable than what we can have in the big restaurants.

This is amazing that the restaurant is still operating after all these years, the food has to be good. I love dim sum, it's one of my favorite meals but I tried these rice rolls once and once only. The texture got the best of me. I think it's fantastic when you can taste something just as good as when you were a child, there's not much left like that these days.

Enjoy your weekend.
