Somethings never change

I think I remember
the same scene
walking from China Town across this road
to the primary school every morning
for 6 years,
some 40 years ago
...
Sometimes,
it is better that
Somethings never change
...

China Town, KL

China Town, KL

China Town, KL

China Town, KL

China Town, KL

On the
streets of Kuala Lumpur ...

I agree that no change is sometimes a good thing, other times change is welcomed and embraced. Do your children now attend the same school?

I love your photos, you have a way with taking photos that makes it seem I've either been there or am experiencing the moment with you.

Such scenes did not exit in my mind, if there still kept such sites, it is worthwhile to have a visit to recall the memory of the old days and for me, to know more details about the past.

I love the way you describe what you see or experience with words and wonderful pictures:)

The sepia of the first two photos evoke an earlier time, but I love the splash of color in the later pictures.

Wonderful. It looks like even the lettering on the street signs has not changed.
