"Chicken" Rice Bowl 鸡公饭碗 ...

For those of us who grew up in
an extended chinese family in the 70's,
chopsticks, the "chicken" rice bowl,
and strict table manners
are the essentials on the dining table
...
Today it is plates and silverware,
I am glad I am still using
chopsticks and that rice bowl
at home

Hello, unfortunately I can not log in to your blog all I want (take days with more hours). Today I saw the detail that you wanted to teach us the cup, and I loved it.
A greeting

Pretty. This reminds me of a favorite old bowl I would use at my grandmother's house. It had a rabbit at the bottom, and you should eat your oatmeal until you find the rabbit.

Is this also the case in Asia. Each time when we are there we get the chop sticks.

Greetings,

It is interesting, the progression of traditions and how modernity changes so much. Yet it is good to keep some of the things we grew up with. Cool close-up shot!
