The spice of life 生活的情趣 ...

酸甜苦
 suān tián kǔ là
Sour Sweet Bitter Spicy
...
If I were to describe my feelings
for the beginning of this year,
it would be a little sweet and sour
just like this mangosteen
...
Then again, the spice of life
would not be complete without
a little bit of of each of the taste of life
...

Mangosteen 山竹 ...

Life in a nutshell; there are times when it is a bit of this and a bit of that and you've summed it up nicely. Now off I go to look up what a mangosteen is. Have a wonderful day Wong!

I did not know the mangosteen. Very beautiful fruit. Their association with interesting spices of life at the beginning of the year.

A very difficult article for me but I don't know the fruit, that could maybe be an excuse.

Greetings,
Filip

A wise thought, Wong! As for the fruit, I have seen it but I didn't eat it and I do not know how it tastes.

Excellent macro shot, I thought at first it was a lychee, is a mangosteen completely different in taste?
