Classic Barbershop 经典理发店 ...

Gosh, I remember it used to be just
Ringgit $0.80 (that is about $0.25US) for a haircut
in these Classic Indian Barbershops
some 40 years ago,
you can still find a few of them in both the city
of KL and Singapore
...
I remember having to sit on a stool placed
on the seat so that it is high enough for
the Barber to perform the haircut,
gone are those days
a basic cut in KL now cost RM$10 or US$3
...

Sometimes it's a shame when old traditions fade away. Nice candid shot Wong.
btw I did say in my text that the blue and white alpha flag is used in Australia and UK, while the red with white stripe is used in USA and Canada.

That is very cheap, when I go for a haircut, it is 28 euro and my wife 38 euro. That is just for the basic service.

Greetings,
Filip

When «Louis», who is (ahem) rather bald, goes to the barber, he doesn't get a haircut, he gets a hair cut...

I love how one sighting can bring back memories and I think it's amazing that there still are barber shops. We have very few in my city and I think the price is about $20CAN. Nothing is cheap anymore. Excellent photo and you sure have an amazing memory!
