Lao-Tzu about Life 老子对人生 ...

Lao-Tzu believed that human life and everything else
in the Universe is constantly influenced by outside forces.
He believed the key to truth and freedom
is “simplicity”
...
Lao-Tzu encouraged his followers to observe and
seek to understand the laws of nature;
for perhaps nature is our greatest teacher

He is so right, but we forget this simply truth very often and complicate our lives in different ways. Pity! I like this tree!

a grande prova de arquitectura do universo; a natureza que se recolhe pelo olhar humano.]

It could be true but also very confronting. Most elements we look at in nature have a much shorter life cycle as humans: animals, plants, look at the effect of the seasons. I suppose that not many people look at mountains or geological structures.

Greetings,
Filip

A picture, much suitable for his writing !

The small book 'Tao-Te-Kig' accompanies me for many years. Please have a good Thursday ahead.

I share your quotes.+
How are you in Malaysia, dear Wong? I listened to the TV that there was an earthquake also in your country along the coast. I hope that the danger is over. Best regards
Erika

Lao-Tzu was extremely wise; many of his teachings parallel with those of the Indigenous peoples. We all could learn so much from respecting Mother Earth.

Excellent photo Wong, the dof makes this tree go on forever.

Indeed, it's so true. But some people forget and understand the true meaning of "nature".
Interesting shot.

So true. Complicated things can be interesting, but simlple ones just make me rest, get quietness and think freely.

I think that simplicity is very important. Simplicity in everything, in dress, in speech, in the way of being, without any clutter inside yourself. Being simple is to be free.

The image is perfect in relation to thought.
