We got pink ones in the south of France. very gracious birds. Kids probably think they don't like to keep their feets in the water.

Thank you Wong, I never knew why these birds stand on one leg... now I do. I thought that maybe they were like me when I'm at home in my kitchen, when I'm standing still for long periods of time (slaving over a hot stove! lol) I stand on one leg, if that leg tires I switch legs... ya it's weird but it works.

Your photos are fantastic, are you shooting with your new P&S lately or are you still using your DSLR? If it's your P&S I can't tell, these are crystal clear and beautiful!
