Seafood 海鲜 ...

Just about everyone's first impression
about this creature
feels 'phallic' about it,
it is only a Geoduck clam (象拔蚌),
good as sashimi or hot pot

Located on the Kowloon (九龍) side of the narrow eastern entrance to
Hong Kong Harbour, the small fishing village at Lei Yue Mun (鯉魚門)
first came into prominence in the early 1960s,
you can now reach here either by ferry or catch on the MTR
and drop-off at the Lam Tin Station (藍田站),
it is fashionable for locals and tourist alike
to come here for its seafood

Never seen such a huge clam. I first wondered what it was until I read your explanation. :-)

Love seafood but this clam is very odd.

Wow, that looks like an interesting market. I'm not sure I'd like the clam though.
