"The Big Boss" 唐山大兄 ...

It was 1971 when I first saw his movie "The Big Boss",
I remember vividly because at that time
I was 7 years ago and the cinema
was just opposite the rented shop houses we lived
I still remember back then,
the cinema entrance fee was 80 cents (US$0.30)
the local Chinese were so crazy about Bruce Lee,
I remember the queue to buy the tickets were
so long and when the tickets were almost sold out,
people crawled over each other to fight for
the last tickets

Bruce Lee is a symbol for a certain category of movies. Young people like this kind of movies here too. The statue is a good portrait of him.

I really like the way you've taken this shot with the muted city backdrop. The legend of Bruce Lee lives on!

Wong I remember the Bruce Lee movies, they were phenomenal and I too couldn't wait to see them. I think that I'll revisit them the next time I'm watching movies. This is a beautiful statue of him, great shot of it too.

Yesterday I was at one of the Botanical Gardens here in Ontario and my step-sister mentioned how much she loves the lily pads, I told her that I'd show her some of your photos and how phenomenally you've captured them. Ever since you posted your lily pad photos I don't see one without thinking of you and your amazing shots... you have a natural gift for taking photos, it's such a delight visit your blog and view your photos. I aspire to take photos as good as you do one day.

On that happy note, have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to my return to blogland once I return home to Alberta. I might be away this weekend from computers, I'm not too sure what this weekend holds in store but it's almost guaranteed to be fun!
