Cheap Lens 便宜的镜头 ...

Nikon 70-300 f4-5.6G
Price USD $130,
I bought it 3 years ago with the D90.
Most people tell me it is a cheap and useless Lens,
Last two months in Hong Kong
I was so reluctant to remove this lens
from the D90

i'd say if you're happy then it's not a 'cheap' lens!

Regardless of the price, the 70-300 is my FAVORITE lens. It's not great in the evenings, but it's always on my camera.

I can imagine you are happy, your pictures are great! Both the quality of the objective but especially your creativity are important for that!
I have the same objective, do not use it a lot anymore, but was never disappointed!
Best regards, marion

I have looked at your pictures made by the 70-300 and i specially likes your shots from above of hong-kong. Nothing wrong with it. Great portofolio here Wong.

I have a "multi-purpose" lens similar to this on my D70. I very rarely take it off these days. Back in the film only days. I had so much camera equipment to carry around with me. the only reason I switched to digital, was to make it easier on myself. Then I started carrying around tons of digital equipment and got tired of it all over again. A friend suggested that I try his Tamron 18-270 for short while. I loved it. I bought one of my own, and it's almost permanently attached to my camera now.

If you're happy with it then that's all that matters. The photographer must be happy with what he/she uses and then you get the best out of it!
I know many who would scoff at my basic kit lenses but they have allowed me to see the world so differently and to capture lots of images I love.
