Liquor and my childhood 酒和我的童年 ...

It is true,
there remind me of growing up
with my father
coming home drunk every night
...
I really don't like them
but when I see them, funny thing
it is a bad reminder and at the same time
also a good reminder to not indulge in them in my life
...
Well, I had one beer yesterday evening
after lecture before driving home

it stays with you forever, doesn't it? my father drank when he had money to do so - beer, though. not too often hard liquor.

Lorsque je me suis rendue en Ecosse j'avais fait la route du whisky et j'avais visité notamment les caves de Glenfiddich... Je n'aime pas les alcools forts.
Une photo merveilleuse qui nous enivre de plaisir.
Gros bisous.

In Greece we all love to drink our traditional drinks , like "ouzo", "raki" tsipouro and , of course , greek WINE !!!
But above all,it is the way how to drink. That is , with a good company of friends, and eating traditional food !!!!

Fully agree with you! It's good to see these colourful bottles but we have to avoid them!

Sad that so often liquor is abused and children are left with bad memories.

Different things really remind us of something. Maybe you can always see it as a positive reminder. Nice capture anyway!

my dad drinks sherry every night but at least when he gets drunk he isn't violent - he either says funny things or falls asleep with his dinner on his lap!

Yes a sad story but a well taken photograph.

Those things are difficult. A friend of mine suffers from the same problem with his father. I've seen how it feels.

Fortunately for me I have a low tolerance for alcohol, especially the hard stuff. Sadly, it sure can ruin lives. This is an excellent photo though :^)

Good for you not to have that kind of drink!
The photograph is excellent!
Keep well Wong!

Memories shape who we are and you have chosen a different path. You've turned something that has sad memories into an art form.
